D.O.: Vi de la Terra de Mallorca
Grape varieties: 100% Premsal Blanc
Alcoholic degree: 13%
Life in years: 2-3
Production: 4000 bottles 0.75 L
A young, fresh white wine with delicate aromas reminiscent of citrus and white fruit, made with the Mallorcan variety Premsal Blanc.
ELABORATION
Manual harvest of 7103's own vines of Premsal Blanc. Subsequent passage of the grapes through a selection table where strict quality control is carried out. Gentle pressing of the bunches at low pressure, in a pneumatic press, to avoid oxidation. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature of approximately 16ºC, for about 30 days, to preserve the freshness of the aromas. The Premsal brings fresh aromas of citrus and white fruit to the wine, as well as a great delicacy to the palate.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: A golden yellow colour. Clean and bright.
Aroma: Aromas of white fruit such as pear, and citrus hints of lime.
Taste: Very pleasant entry on the palate that gives rise to a graceful and lively mid palate. A delicate finish in the mouth and a bitter touch that adds life to it.
Pairing: Ideal to enjoy mid-afternoon with aperitifs. It also pairs well with white fish and rice.
NEGRE BOTA
D.O.: Vi de la Terra de Mallorca
Grape varieties: 70% Mantonegro, 30% Merlot
Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels of 500 L
Alcoholic degree: 14%
Shelf life in years: 6-8
Production: 4.000 bottles 0.75L and 100 Magnums
This wine is made mainly with grapes from the oldest Mantonegro vines planted 50 years ago by the grandfather of the house. It is an elegant, fruity and deep wine with mineral background provided by our vineyard located in predominantly calcareous soils.
WINEMAKING
Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Grapes are carefully selected cluster by cluster from the oldest vines of the native Mantonegro variety, a variety with great aromatic potential, which gives warm and fruity wines. The most red grapes are selected at the table. The wine is blended with a portion of Merlot from younger vines, which gives it more structure.
TASTING NOTES
Color: Bright cherry red with an intense garnet rim.
Aroma: Powerful and complex nose. Aromas of ripe black fruit (blackberries, plums), with hints of minerals, spices and milky notes.
Taste: Quite fresh and elegant on the palate. Balanced palate, with nice and smooth tannins. Long and pleasant finish. Very representative of the Mantonegro variety. Inviting to the food.
Pairing: Grilled meats, game meats, stews, cured cheeses, Iberian ham.
